Congratulations to Coach J Fitness Studio for being our Studio of the Week! See what their members have to say about Indo-Row classes at this studio:
“As a 58 year old female member of the Coach J Fitness Studio I have often wondered what makes me attend classes there 6-7 times a week. I find that each day, I climb the steps and dread the upcoming 60 minutes. When I enter the studio, within minutes, I am home comfortable amongst my fitness community, positive, energized and inspired!!!
Coach J has created an atmosphere where I am challenged to be my best, try my hardest and be motivated with “no excuses” but to only succeed! Every day I am encouraged and surprised with his ability to surprise us with his energy and creativity.
Indo-Row was introduced to our Coach J community about 10 weeks ago, pushing me to a whole new fitness level! I have worked out, trained for 10k run and cross-trained, but the WaterRower has changed my workout experience all together. Whether challenging myself to pull one more meter or competing against my fellow rowers, my exercise regime is at a whole new level. It’s fun and I’m continuously motivated to accomplish more each time! When the class ends, I am dripping with sweat and feeling successful that I made that extra meter. As soon as class is over, I grab my phone and sign up for next week’s class!”
“Like many members of the Coach J Fitness Studio, Paul and I are competitive athletes. Our sport is ultra-marathon paddling. We added Indo-Row to our regular exercise regime about 10 weeks ago. In that 10-week period, our speed on water has increased over 10%. Indo-Row is a full-body strength and cardio workout far surpassing any cross-training we have used in the past. The classes are fun, inspiring and as demanding as you want them to be. Everyone in the class finds the workout they are looking for. Thank you Coach J and your team for introducing us to this workout and for your ongoing support and inspiration. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to raise their level of fitness.”

“But done right, rowing is a workout like no other. Experts say that rowing at five miles per hour burns as many calories as running at 6.7 miles per hour (a pretty fast clip), and even burns more calories than indoor cycling. Rowing is also low-impact, so it’s safe and easy on your joints.”

“The machinery is significantly different at CityRow: A WaterRower, made most famous by a perturbed Claire Underwood, replaces the popular and recognizable Concept2 rower you’ve likely tried before. It’s sleeker, for sure, and the feeling of actually pushing through water makes you feel like you could (maybe, possibly) try rowing for real.”
